Russell Lea Public School

British Concrete has installed both natural and coloured reinforced concrete toppings for walkways and both internal and external areas through the school. These concrete topping works have provided the school with an eye catching architectural concrete feature.

Westfield Parramatta

British Concrete completed 19,000m 2 of concrete topping on polystyrene over levels 4, 5, and 6 of Westfield Parramatta. The lightweight topping design allowed the existing centre floor levels to meet the new design requirements. The Job involved installing polystyrene pods and doweling into the existing concrete and completing the topping over the pods and into the ribs between the pods.

Edgecliff Station

Removal and replacement of existing platform coping with 50mm CTS topping. The CTS topping is a specialised high strength material used for its speed in setting. Completed 160m platform over a weekend possession.

Roselands Shopping Centre Refurbishment

British Concrete has worked closely with ADCO construction on the refurbishment of Roselands Shopping centre bringing the oldest shopping centre in the southern hemisphere into 2019. Concrete topping works within the project included new concrete topping slabs for both ALDI and Woolworths trading floors, cool room wearing slabs for Liquor land and Woolworths using silicon carbide surface hardener and repairing existing concrete floors to provide a level concrete finish for tenancies and mall areas.
